After our home teachers left, Sam wanted to ride his bike outside for a little bit. Thinking he would be ok for a few minutes, Robert went inside to make some lunch and two minutes later we hear the very distinct cry of a little boy who is seriously scared or hurt.
I get outside first to find Sam and his bike in the ditch below the bridge. He must have been riding on the bridge and underestimated and fell off. Our first concern was his ear, since that was the most obvious. He was so sad and just wasn't bouncing back like he normally does so we decided to check for other wounds and find his back all scraped up! Poor kid! He's beginning to calm down after some medicine, a bath and a blessing from Daddy. He sure knows how to keep us on our toes!

Don't you hate that, they are just fine and you leave for 2 seconds and then it all goes down the drain. Can't they stay out of touble for that long?
