Gone With the Wind

So this last week Sam and I headed out with the wind and took a trip over to good old Washington to visit the Potter family (my older sister) and boy did we have fun! It was a good trip seeing all the beautiful girls again! And Ben, too! :) Ben and Corinne are on the doorstep of welcoming baby #5, Caleb to the family and it was anticipated that we would go up to not only spend time with them, but to help them prepare for this new little one as well. Lo and behold, you can't have a trip without at least a few bumps in the road. Thus ours began with me taking a trip to the ER the second day we were there. Everything is fine, just a little scare that turned out to be ok. Then, the next night Sam was fussy and unhappy and was finally relieved when he threw up all over me, our bed and himself. After that, things went better, but because of everything that had happened, we needed to take things easy. We enjoyed the classic girly things like painting our nails and making hair bows to match the girls' sunday dresses. We also took a trip to the park one day and spent Saturday moving things around and washing baby clothes for little Caleb. It was a fine trip and one we were sad to see end. Hope your week has been splendid, ours is one we won't forget! Thanks Potters!
