Tractors!

Today Sammy got a package from his great Aunt Janice which contained an adorable book about John Deere tractors. I thought I would post this little video I took of him showing just how much he loves it!

Sammy

So I realized it has been a while since I've posted pictures of Sammy, so here are a few new ones. His latest tricks include drooling/blowing bubbles, barfing (that still hasn't changed), and getting into really silly moods when he just laughs and laughs at something stupid Mommy does. (Seriously, I'll do something and it will just make him giggle on and on and on and when I try it later, it won't be funny anymore!)

Pedicure

So Robert is gone backpacking for the weekend with my dad and little brothers and my Mom is in Washington helping/visiting my sister, who just had her fourth baby girl, Camilla, so I have been feeling a little lonely. Yesterday, my sister Candace came over to hang out for a while and we decided to go get pedicures. It has been a while since I've had a pedicure and I wanted to splurge a little, so I decided to get the little flower design, even though it was a little pricey. But then I found out why when it was done - they put little gems on my toes, too! It was really fun to get cute toes for summer!

Back to Work

So since Robert was laid off with the other seasonal workers at his job, we decided that I would get a job and work since it would probably pay more and happen quicker. Unfortunately the hospital didn't want me for such a short amount of time, so I am back again at a nursing home, but this time I'm working night shifts, 12 shifts and full-time (which, in nursing is only three days, thank goodness). It's going to be tough, but it will be worth it.

For those of you who may be wondering, yes Robert is still applying for graduate school in California. He has turned in his main application, is nearing completion of his supplemental application and takes the GMAT for last time on July 7th, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that he is able to bring his score up just a little bit more so we can spend the next year living near the beach!!

Sleepy Sleepy Time

Sammy was making some funny noises and some funny faces this morning while he was sleeping and we caught a few on "film"
The funniest thing is that these were taken in the early morning and neither the flash nor the sound of the camera taking the picture made him even flinch in his peaceful slumber.

He didn't quite know what to think when Mommy and Daddy began trying to get him to smile, so he gave us his classic worried look instead!

Ready for Church

This is Sammy in his new church outfit Grandma got for him while she was visiting! She bought two onesies that have a tie sewn onto the shirt, it is sooo adorable! She got one red and one blue

Grandma and Aunt Kayla to Visit

Here is Sammy with Grandma. He loved getting to visit with her again and spitting up all over her time and time again.
This is Sammy with Grandma and Robert's sister, Kayla. Kayla flew all the way from Connecticut to visit with us and to finally meet Sammy. Grandma (Robert's mom) drove up from Arizona to visit and bring us back our little Toyota (Robert is soo happy to have his truck back!)
Grandma's worried that more than just air will come up after a big burp from Sammy!!
